What is Upside Down Living?
Originally published in 2018, this article on Domain discussed a trend towards “upside-down houses”. 5 years on and the trend continues, with some of the newest homes at River Valley providing a great example of why this trend is not going anywhere!
Rethinking interior design, “upside down living” goes against the more common architectural design, which features bedrooms placed upstairs and living areas located on the ground floor. Utilising this design trend places the heart of the home – the kitchen and living areas – in an elevated top-storey location.
