October 23′: Construction Update

– Work is progressing well on the rock retaining wall at the rear of the lots.
– Construction of Stage 7D1 is progressing well.
Between now and the end of the year, the team onsite will continue construction on the rock retaining wall. At this stage, it may begin to feel like the retaining wall progress is slowing down. The engineering for these large retaining walls is precise and rock placement becomes more difficult as the wall gets taller.
Imagine a set of building blocks. As the stack becomes taller, placing each block takes a little bit longer because extra care is taken to ensure strength and stability. As a result the higher rows take a little longer, than the lower ones did, to complete.
